basically, i cut it down with a air powered die grinder. i used little drum sand wheel deal from sears ($9.00). It cut down the high spots quickly. I then used a brillow pad on a flat spindle deal (like a little sander for the same die grinder), again, available at sears. and this is where i am at. I figure once i break out the rough rouge, then hit it lightly with 600, then the white rough, it'll be done. I figure I have 6 hours of labor left in polishing using the die grinder.But I have more welding to do on it... so no sense in polishing anything. anyway, an air power die grinder is noisy, and MESSY but takes a lot of man hours and turn it into only a few man hours.
